Bleach Season 17 release date announced for October 2022! The millennial war arrives on Disney+

Autumn 2022 will turn out to be a firecracker with Bleach returning after 9 years and here are all the reasons you should be hyping! Based on the manga by Tite Kubo, The anime first aired in 2006 and ended after a whopping 366 episodes in 2012. The manga series was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016. With 72 complete volumes in existence, the series has sold over 120 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. The anime has a rating of 7.8/10 on My Anime List.

Bleach ended after the Xcution arc and left viewers with a cliffhanger and quite a painful one at that. The manga continued well into 2016 and finally ended after a time skip. Bleach was known as one of the big names of Shonen manga along with the likes of Naruto, One Piece, and Dragon Ball. All of these series are continuing in one form or another!

Bleach Final Arc: Thousand Year Blood War Spoilers

The Thousand-Year blood Arc will be with the final arc of Bleach. The manga for the corresponding arc stretches from Volume 55 to 74. The story for the arc will be bringing the Quincy army back. Ywahch aims to unleash destruction upon humanity, Hueco Mundo, and Soul Society. His plan centers around absorbing the Soul King.

Ishida has defected to the Quincy army, as the last Quincy. This creates a rift between him and Ichigo along with his allies. The battle with Ywahch rages and more is revealed about Ichigo and Ishida’s families. The end of the war is followed by a 10-year time skip.

Bleach Season 17 Release Date Confirmed

The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime will air on TV Tokyo in October 2022. The anime will cover the rest of the original manga up through its ending. The announcement came on 2nd July during Anime Expo. An intense new trailer and key visual were shared to mark the event.

The key visual shared shows the captains of the 13th Guardian Corps and 29 Knights of the Star Cross. One can make out the battle scenes of Ichigo and Rukia. The franchise is also planning to screen Bleach Season 17 Episodes 1 and 2 for its fans. The screening will be limited to 1000 people only. Bleach Season 17 Release Rumors

Crunchyroll confirmed the release of Season 17 in 2021. But as there has been nothing announced for the Summer 2021 line-up, one can only assume that Fall 2022 or Winter 2022 are the possible slots for release. Winter 2022 i.e., November and December 2022 are the likely months for the release. If this timeline holds, we are likely to get official trailers at least by Fall 2021.

On the occasion of Jump Festa 2022 which is only a few days away, fans are expecting to get a date to the new Bleach anime. The wait has been long, with almost no information revealed from March 2020 to December 2021. If the rumours turn out true then Bleach should get a release in autumn 2022. Taking into account the Japanese transmission blocks, Bleach Final Arc: Thousand Year Blood War might make a debut in the very first days of October 2022. It is again an impatient wait of a few more months when we see Ichigo Kurosaki and his companions in action again.

December Bleach Exhibition Promo Posters Leaked

Bleach Exhibition has been announced from 18th December to 16th January and needless to say that preparations are in full swing. It is expected that during the event a new Season will be announced possibly with the launch of a promotional trailer.

The stage of big revelation on Bleach Final arc was set in Jump Festa 2022. It did not disappoint the fans. A trailer, as well as PV, was released for the return of the Bleach anime with the adaptation of the final narrative arc of The War of the Thousand Years. The anime has been inspired by the original work written and animated by Tite Kubo, scheduled for airing confirmed in October 2022.

A couple of days ago, fan account @bleachscans revealed some interesting details on the basis of recent key comments from Kubo-sensei. One can infer the following from the tweet

  • Bleach 2022 anime will be a direct adaptation of the Bleach manga. The objective of the Thousand Year Blood War anime is also to expand on some content and to work on unexplained content in the manga. This includes events like revealing who attacked Rukia in the 1st Quincy invasion.
  • WE DO knot ALWAYS LOVE YOU, a light novel published in 2016 could also receive its own anime. This novel narrates the events after the Wandenreich. Basically, it is responsible for bringing the reader up to date on the lives of the main characters of Bleach.
