Demon Slayer Season 2 Entertainment District Arc is only a week away! The immensely popular anime series is set to return after its first season release in 2019. Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train was released in 2020 and holds broke many records at the Japan box office after its initial release.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Entertainment District Arc is one of the biggest releases of Fall 2021 that will continue till March 2022. What is Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba About?

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba follows the journey of Tanjiro Kamado set in the Taisho era of Japan. In the world of Demon Slayer, a war has broken out between humans and demons. On a bloodied battlefield and with no home to return to, Tanjiro sets out on a mission to avenge his sister, Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon. Tanjiro and Nezuko’s parents are slaughtered mercilessly by demons in their home.

The siblings begin a quest to lift Nezuko’s curse and stumble upon the Demon Slayer Corps. This organization is dedicated to fighting and killing demons and freeing society from their terror. Nezuko, though a demon, retains her capacity for emotion and kindness and is very protective of her brother and companions. Tanjiro promises to avenge his family and help his sister to become human again.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Entertainment District Arc is set to begin from December 5 and will release weekly on Netflix and other platforms. The Mugen Train Arc is already being hosted on Netflix.  It has been officially announced by Fuji TV that Demon Slayer 2 will be spread across 2 cours. It will be broadcast between October 2021 and March 2022. Season 2 of the anime will end in March 2022.

The OP and EP for the Entertainment District Arc are titled “Zankyo Sanka” (Song of Reverberation) and “Asa ga Kuru” (Daybreak) and are performed by Aimer. The first episode of Demon Slayer Season 2 Entertainment District Arc will be of one-hour release!

Demon Slayer Season 2 Mugen Train Arc wrapped up after 8 episodes, retelling the story of the Mugen Train movie in more detail. After the death of the Fire Hashira, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Nezuko and Zenitsu make their way into the Entertainment District, along with the Sound Hashira, Tengen Usui. The arc will begin from chapter 70 of the manga and will continue all the way up to chapter 99.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8 will begin with the demon slayer corps at the Butterfly Mansion. After a bit of commotion and confusion, the mansion finally sees some calm. Tengen is asked where they will be headed for their next mission to which his response is: “the flashiest place in Japan, steeped lust and avarice.” They head for the Entertainment District.

When and Where Can You Watch Entertainment District Arc?

Funimation has taken up the mantle of streaming the upcoming season of the anime yet again. Much like the previous season and the movie, the anime will be available in both Japanese and English Audio. Funimation is offering a premium plan of $5.99/month with access to its complete library and no ads. There is another premium plus plan of $7.99/month that has a few additional bonuses.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Entertainment District Arc is also streaming on Netflix with a weekly update on the episodes. Netflix already has Season 1 of the anime. Funimation also has an English Dub for Demon Slayer.

The first episode of the Entertainment District Arc will release on December 5, 2021, which is this Sunday!

On 17th February, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc English dub was confirmed. It is coming to Crunchyroll and Funimation on 20th February. Check out the tweet below:

Those who usually watch the subbed version are of the opinion that you might not get the same level of excitement or feelings for English dubbed as you had for subbed. But fans will still book their calendars and popcorn.
