Lucifer Season 6 is set to make a return for one final run on Netflix with our favourite Devil and we are all eyes and ears for it! The TV show was renewed for a final run in June 2020 and will finally stream in September 2021! The American TV Show based on the DC characters with the same name was created in 2016. The comic books for the same are published under Vertigo and feature Lucifer, the devil who left hell and became a nightclub owner in LA and somehow also a crime consultant. The series has a rating of 8.1/10 on IMDb!

According to the whispers and screams on the internet, the final season of Lucifer will also have a special animated episode coming in Episode 3 and here’s all you need to know about it!

The promotion of the final season of “Lucifer” is going in full swing. The makers have released a trailer and taken everyone by surprise. It was the animated fragment that has caught the eyes of fans. Yes, you have guessed it right – we are in for a cartoon episode of the Lucifer series.

Interestingly, the glimpse of the animation in the trailer is reminiscent of Hannah Barbara days of old cartoons like The Flinstones and the Jetsons for those who remember it. The title of the episode is also a reference to The Flinstones, with Fred Flinstone’s catchphrase being ‘Yabba Dabba Do!’.

Lucifer Season 6 Animated Episode – Harley Quinn’s Magic is Back!

Lucifer Season 6 will be accomplishing what was a dream for the creators of the show – adding an animated episode to the show’s run! Not only is there an animated episode in the final season, but it is also going to have the team of DC’s adult animated series Harley Quinn working on it.

The animated Harley Quinn series is spectacular for fans of the Legion of Doom, Batman, Gotham City and most importantly, Harley herself. There are currently 2 seasons of the series released with a third season on the way!

While the plot points for the animated episode remain hidden, the episode has been titled ‘Yabba Dabba Do Me’ a reference to the “Flintstones”. It will be the 3rd episode in the final season. We don’t yet know why or how Lucifer and Chloe are animated in this specific episode or how it relates to the rest of the episodes in the season.

Not much is known about its plot. However, Joe Henderson, one of the frontline players of the show had to say this about the animated episode

I’ve always wanted to do this. I didn’t think I could do it because it’s a real undertaking. But there was COVID and we looked for ways to reduce the number of days on the set. And so the problem was an occasion, because for years I had been secretly dreaming about it.

Producer Jennifer Coyle and her animation team who are the makers of the cartoon “Harley Quinn” have been given the ownership of Lucifer Season 6 animated episode. Though not much is known about their collaboration, Collider highlighted the fact that both franchises are based on DC comics.

– We were very lucky because we were lucky to get this time window to work with animators who can bring a lot of humanity to cartoons. It was a great coincidence

Lucifer Season 6 Release

The new season will begin streaming on Netflix on September 10th 2021! The final season will consist of 10 episodes, all of which will be released in one go!

What else are you waiting for in the final season? Will Dan return? Will there be more singing and a new enemy of Lucifer. There are also speculations that Adam, Eve’s husband, may come back in the series.
