What is The Seven Deadly Sins About?
The premise of the story for the Seven Deadly Sins is set in the land of Britannia. This action-fantasy series is set around a band of powerful knights called the Seven Deadly Sins, each of whom possesses a unique ability.
The group disbands after a conspiracy against them that frames them for plotting a coup. Elizabeth, a Lioness Princess finds Meliodas, the leader of the deadly sins, and sets out to find the other members to prove their innocence. In this commotion, they must also free Liones from the Holy Knights who were manipulated by a demon to free their race.

Movie 2 is a sequel to the first movie and takes place after the incidents of the manga. The story of the movie takes place after the Dragon’s judgement arc. The Holy War which had erupted after 3000 years between the humans, faeries, goddesses and giants pitted against the demons finally comes to an end. But Lion’s Sin of Pride Escanor has died fighting the Demon King. The Sins disperse and set out on their own paths.
The world seemed to be regaining peace. At the King’s wedding, the Sins have gathered to join the ceremony but unrest is nigh. Dahlia, the Fairy Prince of the Second generation and Dubs, the Master Craftsman of the Giants announce that the Sins have ruined the Holy War and will pay the price for it. Thus, a new battle ensues as the Sins, joined by Zeldris battle it out with the Fairies and the Giants.
The Seven Deadly Sins The Movie: Prisoners of the Sky has received a rating of 7.1/10 on IMDb and makes for a good watch. As the manga ended with its last volume in May 2020, an additional volume was released in January 2021 as The Four Knights of The Apocalypse Saga which may possibly get an anime adaptation.
