The premise of the story for the Seven Deadly Sins(Nanatsu no Taizai: Mokushiroku no Yonkishi) is set in the land of Britannia. This action-fantasy series is set around a band of powerful knights called the Seven Deadly Sins, each of whom possesses a unique ability.

The group disbands after a conspiracy against them that frames them for plotting a coup. What will be The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse plot?

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is a sequel manga to the original Nanatsu no Taizai. Set 16 years after the defeat of The Supreme Deity, Cath Plaug, and The Demon King. Percival lives alone with his grandfather Varghese on an island above the clouds known as God’s Finger. On his 16th birthday, an unexpected attack reveals the identity of his father and his own fate as one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse.

When Will The Seven Deadly Sins Four Knights of the Apocalypse Release on

Earlier on 7th May, a reliable anime leaker ‘@SugoiLITE’ tweeted about The Seven Deadly Sins sequel series, “Four Knights of the Apocalypse”, to be in production.

The same was confirmed in the official announcement.

It has been almost a year since the Four knights of the Apocalypse anime series was announced and practically it has not shown any signs of life after it. However, the staunch fans of Nakaba Suzuki’s work continued to maintain the illusion that the release date announcement is coming.

Unfortunately due to the decline in the quality of the animation of the last seasons of Nanatsu no Taizai, many anime viewers are not waiting. A recent leak on the Studio name revived some hopes of the fans who were otherwise expecting another botched-up season. Another leak suggested that Telecom Animation Film of (Lupin III, Orange) will be the studio in charge. This is the right time for the franchise to pick up its future.

Luckily this news was confirmed in an official tweet that also revealed that The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse release date is 2023. While sharing the first teaser trailer for this sequel to Nanatsu no Taizai, they announced that Animation Production is by Telecom Animation Film Production & Planning: UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS.

Also came the announcement about the actor who will give life to the protagonist, Percival. He will be seiyuu Shou Komura, who played only minor roles earlier.

With production time being taken into consideration, the anime adaptation could be released in Summer 2023 – Fall 2023. No official timeline has been announced yet but the 2023 anime calendar seems to be the most likely time of release.

The anime could easily be a split cour release with 12-14 episodes in each cour. There are only 6 volumes of the manga that are out with a total of 60+ chapters as of now. A full season could easily have 25-odd episodes covering the first few arcs of the manga.

It is likely that the anime might find release on the Netflix platform. However, we have to wait for the official confirmation
