Geralt of Rivia is back with yet another dangerous quest in the second issue of The comic The Witcher: Witch’s Lament. For those unfamiliar but excited, Dark Horse Comics released a mini series for The Witcher titled The Witcher: Witch’s Lament. The first issue for the comic released on May 26th 2021 and is back with the second installment!
It seems Witcher season is back with the upcoming Season 2 of Netflix’s Witcher and speculations of a Witcher 4 video game by CD Projekt RED. For those wanting to explore the video games, The Witcher trilogy created by CD Projekt Red narrates the story of Geralt of Rivia, a monster-slaying Witcher who travels across the continent and winds caught up in a web of Destiny. The Witcher 3 is considered one of the best RPG games of all time!
The first issue of the comic had Geralt confront a witch who was burnt at stake. The Official Dark Horse Comics overview for the series The Witcher: Witch’s Lament says:
Flames rise as a witch is burned at the stake. As Geralt searches for his next job, disturbing issues of the fatal persecution appear before him, bringing an ominous warning.
When will The Witcher: Witch’s Lament Issue 2 release?
The coming issue for The Witcher: Witch’s Lament will be available on June 30 2021 for digital purchase on the Dark Horse Comics website. The overview for issue 2 says
Geralt’s rescue mission takes a turn when Giltine refuses his help. Drawn to the cult’s settlement, he finds himself an unwitting participant in one of their most sacred rituals.
The release date for issue 3 for the comic series is already available on the website and fans will be waiting just another month for the third installment to arrive.
