Beastars Season 2 Dub is coming out July 15th on Netflix worldwide

Beastars Season 2 Dub is all set to make a comeback on Netflix. While Season 2 for Beastars was released in Japan in January 2021, Netflix has planned to release it globally on July 15. Studio Orange tweeted about Season 2 of Beastars coming to Netflix worldwide on July 15. The tweet said – Hey Legoshi, BEASTARS Season 2 is coming out July 15th on Netflix worldwide. In the meantime keep visiting the impossible stop-motion opening sequence of Season 1.

Beastars Season 1 was released on Netflix in March 2020 while the original run for the anime series was in Winter 2020 in Japan.

Beastars Season 2 was earlier planned to premiere in Japan in August 2020. Due to COVID 19 pandemic, the Beastars Season 2 dub release date got pushed. The Beastars manga series finally confirmed Season 2 to premiere in January 2021 on the Fuji TV Network in Japan.

Beastars Season 2 Plot & Spoilers

Beastars revolves around a Cherryton Academy, a high school in a world where animals are anthropomorphized and exist in civil society, much like any other anime with a high school setting. The protagonist of the series is Legoshi, a rather shy and timid wolf who grows to develop feelings for Haru, a white dwarf rabbit.

After rescuing the small and defenseless Haru from the clutches of the Shishigumi, the mafia clan of lions, and spending a night with her, Legoshi resumes his normal daily life in the prestigious Cherryton Institute.

The world is divided between herbivores and carnivores, leading to complications in Legoshi’s interest in Haru. To complicate matters further, an alpaca is killed and eaten which sets off tension and hostile feelings between the carnivores and herbivores at school. Legoshi becomes a suspect, being a carnivore, a wolf.

Season 1 ended with intense involvement of the mafia and Haru’s abduction. Beastars Season 2 Episode 1 takes off from where Season 1 left and also continues the search for the murderer of Tem, the alpaca. We will find the protagonist, a large gray wolf in the opening episode. He appears to be menacing but in reality, he is a kind heart but a little dull. There will be few more known faces in the opening episode such as Haru the bunny, the drama club members, and Legoshi’s roommates.

From Beastars Season Episode 2, the ball will get rolling. The new phase or theme will begin to take shape. It will be tracking the mystery killer of Tem that remained unsolved at the end of the first season.

Since Beastars has been a direct manga adaptation and already ended streaming in Japan, we know what is coming our way in the 12 episodes of Season 2. However, for fans who haven’t read the manga, Beastars Season 2 plot will follow chapters 48 – 98 of manga.

As far as the question around how many episodes will Beastars Season 2 Dub have, it will follow Season 1. It will also have 12 episodes similar to Season 1 with each episode duration about twenty-three minutes long.
