The anime adaptation for the popular manga series is currently airing the second cour of its second season! That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken is published by Kodansha in their Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine and has been in publication since 2015. Like many isekai titles, the protagonist Satoru Mikami dies and is somehow reborn into a different world. But weirdly enough, he is reincarnated as a slime in a different world.
In an encounter with a certain Veldora Tempest, he is granted the name Rimuru Tempest and given divine protection. In making friends and allies around him, he also draws the attention of powerful foes.

The Japanese title for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Game is Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Maō to Ryū no Kenkoku-tan (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Saga of How the Demon Lord and Dragon Founded a Nation). Bandai Namco announced that the game will be released as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories. The game is available for pre-registration on both iOS and Android platforms.
The game will follow a 3D RPG empire-building pattern with a battle element. The game will be free to play along with an array of in-game purchase options. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories will consist of playable storylines and characters from the original anime. Additional original characters and storylines as well as avatars! The building element lets the player build the kingdom of Tempest and also engage in 3D battles.
According to Bandai Namco, playing will be fun for those who have closely followed the anime. The game will recount the anime coupled with their own adventures, with Fuse, making the experience exciting.
ISEKAI Memories game has not announced an exact release date for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Game. As of now, sometime in 2021 release for the game is confirmed. The makers have yet not confirmed any price tag yet, however, there are speculations that it will probably be a free-to-play game.
The theme song for the game will be performed by Takuma Terashima (Tokyo Revengers, Log Horizon and many more features!). Brittney Karbowski should still be voicing Rimiru Tempest and Chris Rager should be voicing Veldora! The rest of the cast will be revealed in the upcoming months.
