The Marginal Service Anime Trailer
What is The Marginal Service About?
While we still wait for the official synopsis of the show to reveal a little bit more about what we are in for, the trailer seems to be building expectations for a rather wild ride. The teaser for the anime has upbeat music and visuals similar to that of the 2019 Netflix release ‘Great Pretender’. Much like Great Pretender, The Marginal Service centres on a group of people, seemingly people who get involved in risky business, judging from the caution signs and warning flashes around our main folks.
The anime is set in the year 202X, which supposedly will be revealed in due time. The Japanese text also dropped a few hints at what the potential premise of the show could be. The text says, Shibuya and Shinjuku; are both well-known regions in Japan and are often seen in anime series as well. Conceptually, The Marginal Service could be a group of con artists or mercenaries for hire who take up odd risky jobs and live on the edge. The official synopsis for the anime will be released in the upcoming months.
When will The Marginal Service anime be released?
The Marginal Service release date is yet to be officially announced. The preview along with the character announcement has given a 2023 release window for the anime on the official website and on its official Twitter handle.
Given that this announcement is coming in at the end of 2022, the anime is likely to release in the second half of 2023.
As for the number of episodes or release pattern, it is difficult to predict the exact length of the anime owing to the fact that this is an original series without a manga reference. The anime could be a single cour release with 12-14 episodes or it could span 6 months could have 20-25 episodes.
