What is Tokyo Revengers About?

Tokyo Revengers blends Sci-fi with high school delinquency. As strange as it sounds, landmark releases like Akira too was a blend of these genres. Tokyo Revengers revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old delinquent who looks like a kid. A lot of people in the anime do but that is because of a twist.

One day he discovers that his only girlfriend ever had been killed along with her sibling. Takemichi too dies moments after learning this but is somehow warped back in time to relive his high school days. He tries to change the past and prevent Hinata’s death. Takemichi, now able to travel through time, uses his ability to change the course of the future.

Teh animation is taken care of by Liden Films Studios with Kouichi Hatsumi at the helm and Yasuyuki Mutou as the primary scriptwriter. Music is composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi and Kenichi Oonuki and Keiko Oota have designed the characters. The opening theme song “Cry Baby” has been sung by Pop group Official HIGE DANdism. The ending theme for the first 12 episodes has been done by Eill’s “Koko de Iki wo shite.”

Tokyo Revengers Episode 17 Leaks

Tokyo Revengers Episode 17 is titled ‘No Way’. Baji’s task was to beat Chifuru, the vice-captain of the First Division of Toman and his old friend as a test of faith. Baji finishes his task and Takemichi is made to be the witness of Baki’s resolve in front of Valhalla. With things being complicated as they are, Takemichi needs to find a way to bring Baji back to Toman if he wants to save everyone from Kisaki Tetta.

Episode 16 followed suit and had Kazutora, one of the founding members of Toman, bring Takemichi to the Valhalla den where Baji is being tested before adding him to Valhalla. The episode also showed a flashback to Baji and Kazutora trying to surprise Mikey with a stolen bike but ending up murdering Shinichiro, Mikey’s elder brother. Due to Kazutora’s mental state, he somehow forms an irrational hatred for Mikey, blaming him for everything that happened.

Tokyo Revengers Episode 17 will begin with the events of the next day after Baji joins Valhalla. Chifuru meets with a troubled Takemichi and tells him that Baji joined Valhalla for a reason. Baji is loyal to Toman and believes that joining Valhalla will be advantageous to Toman, possibly in their upcoming brawl. Will Takemichi be able to stop Kiseki’s Omen?
