What is Nagatoro About?
True to a romantic comedy, Nagatoro has all kinds of antics that create excitement and problems in Kzaehaya High School. Hayase Nagatoro is a relentless tease who passes no opportunity to torment Naoto Hachiouji after catching him working on his manga in the library. She decides to tease him despite being a first-year and also calls him senpai instead of using his actual name.
She follows him around and bullies him for his timid and nerdy personality which progressively gets more assertive. Naoto feels embarrassed by her antics but slowly gets used to her presence, also finding moments of fun among them. Nagatoro’s teasing is perhaps not all bad as Naoto forms a crush on her as they spend time together.
What Will Nagatoro Season 2 Plot Cover?
The ending of Nagatoro Season 1 had the Cultural Festival wrap up with the music concert where Nagatoro and Naoki ended up going together. The President nudged the town in the right direction after the problem at the painting exhibition got the painting disqualified for arbitrary reasons. Since the painting was for Nagatoro and had so much work put into it, The President’s compliments got both of them flustered.
Nagatoro Season 1 adapted up to Volume 6 of the manga, jumping back and forth in between chapters. Nagatoro Season 2 is expected to pick up from Volume 7 of the manga. Like the previous season, the exact order of chapters adapted from the manga will differ but will cover the date at the zoo and Nagatoro confronting the girls who caused trouble with the painting at the Cultural Festival.

It is likely that the upcoming season will also be a single cour with 12 episodes. This would also give the manga time to progress as the upcoming season will also cover roughly 6-7 volumes as an estimate.
