The light novel adaptation is going to be a part of the January line-up and add a dash of wholesomeness to the action-packed line-up. The official website for the series revealed a short preview with the release date, cast, and more information about the upcoming anime.
The light novel series of the same name is written by Kinosuke Naiko with illustrations by Yasumo. The series first began publication in October 2017 on Shosetsuka ni Naro and was later shifted to Enterbrain. The light novel series presently has 12 volumes along with a manga adaptation that has been collected into 9 volumes.

What is Farming Life in Another World About?
Machio Hiraku succumbs to illness at age 39 but it seems that his life is yet to end. As he passes away, he comes face to face with God, who gives him the chance to be born again in a different world. Hiraku gladly accepts, expressing his wish to be born with strength and a healthy body. He gets two more wishes with which he chooses a peaceful life and knowledge of the local language. In one final wish, he chooses a life as a farmer.
With the ultimate farming tool at his disposal, Hiraku finds himself living his laid-back farming dream, finding new people along the way whom he begins to share his life with.

The official website of Farming Life in Another World has announced that the anime will be a part of the January 2023 line-up. The anime will premiere on Friday, January 6th in Japan on TV networks and might also get a streaming platform release later.

Farming Life in Another World Characters Cast and Staff!
The main cast of Farming Life in Another World along with their character designs have been revealed! Additional characters will be introduced subsequently. The current ensemble for the show includes:
- Atsushi Abe as Hiraku Machio
- Shino Shimoji as Ru
- Aya Suzaki as Tia
- Lynn as Ria
The anime TV series is being produced by Zero-G, which is also known for Grand Blue, My Roommate is a Cat, and The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague. Ryoichi Kuraya is directing the anime, Touko Machida is the script supervisor for the anime and Yoshiko Saito is the character designer as well as the chief animation director for the series. Johannes Nillson is the music composer with Polygon producing the music.
The newly announced staff for the series includes Shuhei Abe as the sound director and Sabre link as the sound producer and Kiyotaka Nakahara as the chief animation officer along with Yusuke Isouchi who is also the sub-character designer.
Hirofumi Sakagami and Yumi Nakata are the Art Directors for Farming Life in Another World and Hiroshi Kato is credited with the art setting. Yuko Tsumori and Kaori Nakahara are the color-key artists, Yoshinori Ban is the 3D CG Director and Masaki Utsunomiya is credited with editing.

Farming Life in Another World manga adaptation took place a few months after the release of the light novels. Initially published on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website, the Yasuyuki Tsurugi illustrated series began publication in Fujimi Shobo’s Monthly Dragon Age magazine soon after.
