Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer to get Anime Adaptation, July 2022 Release Confirmed With Trailer – Here’s All You Need to Know!

There are some manga series that fans just wait for to get an anime adaptation. Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer is exactly what we’re talking about. For anyone who had this title fly under their radar, this manga series is one of the most anticipated adventure fantasy titles that did not have an anime adaptation. The announcement for the anime adaptation’s release has finally arrived and we’re here for it.

Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer is a manga series written and illustrated by Satoshi Mizukami that was serialized in the Shonen Gahosha magazine from 2005 to 2010. Even with only 10 volumes, the series has a lot to offer and makes it one of the most recommended yet underrated series.

The series is also known as Hoshi no Samidare or Samidare of the Stars. The manga is rated 8.4/10 on My Anime List!

What is Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer About?

This fantasy adventure comedy series begins with Yuuhi Amamiya, a regular college student who believes he has a regular life till he doesn’t. Out of the blue, he is approached by a talking lizard named Sir Noi Crezant who unloads a fantastical adventure on Yuuhi. Like every fantasy universe, the nemesis of Earth already exists. Animus, a powerful mage plots to destroy earth using his weapon, the Bicuilt Hammer that ominously looms in the earth’s orbit.

Yuuhi becomes the Lizard Beast Knight and is very quickly targeted by the mage. He is saved by his neighbour, princess Asahina Samidare. Things get confusing when he realizes that even though he swore his loyalty to her, she does not intend to keep earth safe. On the contrary, she plans to blow it up herself! She reveals that she does not want Animus to destroy Earth, but that she rather wants to do it herself.

Yuuhi is stuck in a situation where he needs to choose if we will ally himself with her as she takes earth down, or stand against it and save the planet.
