Mushoku Tensei is based on a light novel series by the same name that is written by Rifujin na Magnanote. The light novel currently has 25 tankonbon volumes and is still in publication.
What is Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation About?
The plot for the anime revolves around a 34-year-old hikikomori (shut-in) who is constantly bullied and pushed around. He finally faces eviction after his parents’ death. He resolves to do something heroic but it ends in another awful tragedy – his own death. But instead, he is reborn as Rudeus Greyrat.
The world he is warped into thrives on sorcery and the will of the sword. Rudeus becomes an apprentice of Roxy Migurdia and finally finds a world to belong in. But the challenges and obstacles in his life are far from over.

Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation Episode 18 is a part of the Reunion Arc of Mushoku Tensei Season 2 and is titled ‘Seperate Journeys’. Episode 18 has Rudeus, Eris and Ruijerd part ways with Paul and take a ship to the central continent. Talhand, Elinalise and Roxie are in search of the Greyrat family. She visits her village Migurd but struggles to make peace with the fact that she had run away from home.
Roxie has not seen her parents in a long time. The reunion remains a bit awkward as she is unable to communicate with the villagers. However, her mother’s emotions reach her and she agrees to stay for a bit longer.

In some of the upcoming events that draw from the light novel, The Princess of the Kingdom of Asura, Ariel turns to her people for support. Gravhel, the first in line to the throne assaults Fitt, which leads to Ariel coming to her aid. Fitt’s backsory is also set to unfold in the upcoming episodes.
