My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 17 Recap
Episode 17 of Season 5 is titled ‘The Hellish Todoroki Family’. The anime is currently covering the Endeavour agency Arc in which Deku and Bakugo work with Endeavour for their internship. Endeavour invites them himself and now being the Number One Hero, both the young heroes find a lot to learn from him. Endeavour tells them that they need to catch villains faster than he does and that will be one of their primary tasks.
Give and take a chase with a villain, Endeavour tells them to go rejuvenate themselves for the next day. Pro-Hero Hawks sends them a message informing them about the real enemy that is the Paranormal Liberation Army and their numbers are astounding. Cut to the Todoroki Residence, Fuyumi chats amicably and Endeavour realizes that his dream of a joyful family was destroyed by himself.
The episode delves into Endeavour’s past as an abusive and harsh man to all of his family, ultimately breaking the family into pieces. A snippet of Touya Todoroki, his eldest son, appears and from the looks of it, he seems to have passed away.
