What is Tearmoon Empire About?

Princess Mia is the selfish and conceited ruler of the Tearmoon Empire that has fallen. The verdict of the population is filled with only one thing – hatred and the princess’ head. Mia is set up for execution by the guillotine and faces her death sentence with one last look at the sun. It would not be correct to call it an isekai title as Mia is soon reborn in the same world.

Moments after the execution, she opens her eyes and releases that she is 12 again and has somehow gone back in time. With the knowledge of what is to come in the future, she sets out to right the wrongs in the empire. Every aspect of her ruled land faces some problem or the other, beginning with governance to economic and environmental threats. Realizing it is going to be a lot of work, Mia begins to assemble people in her surroundings who can help her achieve her goals and avoid being… executed.

She finds the brilliant master Ludwig and her maid Anne, who are loyal to her. Their efforts begin to take shape over time which changes the course of history from the timeline where Mia was executed. Mia’s motivations to make these changes are not particularly noble. She hates hard work but hates the pain of being executed by the guillotine much more.
