As of 2021, there are 15 volumes published as well as a manga adaptation for the title by Gin Ammo.

What is Black Summoner About?

Kelvin wakes up in a new world without any memories from his previous life. He realizes that he traded memories of his past to gain powerful abilities that he could not even begin to estimate. The new world seemed less daunting with these newfound abilities. He begins to travel as a Summoner and is joined by the goddess who brought him into this present world.

Kelvin also discovers his potential and gets into brawls and actually wins them. He is challenged by powerful people from different lands including Knights and demons! He begins journeying only to find greater challenges in his way and continues to defeat them hoping to leave a mark on the world.

J-Novel Club describes the Black Summoner plot:

Waking up in a strange new place with no memory of his past life, Kelvin learns that he’s bartered away those very memories in exchange for powerful new abilities during his recent transmigration. Heading out into a whole new world as a Summoner — with his first Follower being the very goddess who brought him over! — Kelvin begins his new life as an adventurer, and it isn’t long before he discovers his hidden disposition as a battle junkie.

From the Black Knight of the Ancient Castle of Evil Spirits to the demon within the Hidden Cave of the Sage, he revels in the fight against one formidable foe after another.

When Will Black Summoner Release?

The Black Summoner anime adaptation has only received the green signal for release in the past week. The recent reveal has the main character designs and voice cast along with a visual for the upcoming series. The poster only says 2022 TV release and does not delve into details. The TV adaptation announcement of the anime was done by Bushiroad Move.

Kuro no Shoukanshi Black Summoner key visual anime

The release date for Black Summoner is yet to be confirmed, but it was speculated to probably be Summer 2022 to a Fall 2022 anime at the earliest. During the Anime Japan 2022 event held in March 2022, along with a teaser trailer, premiere month was also announced. Black Summoner episodes will air in July 2022.

Since the anime is being adapted from light novels, the pacing of the anime adaptation really matters. The anime could be released in the course, which mean there would be 12-14 episodes in every season or part that releases and it would span across a quarter of the year.

Is there a Black Summoner Trailer?

During the Anime Japan 2022 event, a preview teaser video for the upcoming Black Summoner anime was unveiled.

Where Can You Watch Black Summoner?

Black Summoner is expected to get a TV broadcast in Japan and will probably air on Tokyo MX, BS11 and associated channels. As for the streaming platforms, it is not yet certain where the anime would be available. Crunchyroll may decide to stream the anime but will only make the announcement before that anime calendar season begins.

Netflix and other such platforms may also be a valid option, but judging by the popularity of the light novel series, the title has flown under the radar quite a bit and may have to wait till further details get announced.
