Mushoku Tensei is based on a light novel series by the same name that is written by Rifujin na Magnanote. The light novel currently has 25 tankonbon volumes and is still in publication.
What is Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation About?
The plot for the anime revolves around a 34-year-old hikikomori (shut-in) who is constantly bullied and pushed around. He finally faces eviction after his parents’ death. He resolves to do something heroic but it ends in another awful tragedy – his own death. But instead, he is reborn as Rudeus Greyrat.
The world he is warped into thrives on sorcery and the will of the sword. Rudeus becomes an apprentice of Roxy Migurdia and finally finds a world to belong in. But the challenges and obstacles in his life are far from over.
Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation Episode 21 Recap
We have seen that Rudeus along with Eris and Ruijerd continues his journey in search of his mother. On his way, he also saved his stepmother and half-sister. As the trio moves forward they are confronted with Seven Great Power, Orsted. On seeing him his friends Eris and Ruijered freeze out of fear. Rudeus is unfazed and dares a chat with Orsted who was aware of everyone’s past. Though Eris and Ruijerd put up a good show against Orsted, he was able to wound Rudeus gravely.
Mushoku Tensei Episode 21 ended with Orsted almost killing Rudeus by ploughing his hand across his chest. But, a mysterious girl intervenes and casts a healing spell on Rudeus, leading Orsted to change his decision. Episode 22 is on climax with the entry of a girl who influences the Dragon God to change his decision.

However, his hometown of Buena became a wasteland, and the town of Loa, where the Boreas family was, was also a refugee camp where people involved in the transfer incident gathered. After reuniting with the butler Alphonse and Guillene and learning about the current state of the Fitua territory and the Boreas family, Ellis visits Rudeus after thinking alone.
